Air India Express, the low-cost arm of Air India, launched the first-ever non-stop service between Singapore and the divine city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu on September 16, 2017. The High Commissioner of India to Singapore, His Excellency Jawed Ashraf inaugurated the service at a colorful function held at Changi Airport Terminal.
