Digital COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (DCVC) for International Travel
Guests are required to generate and access the DCVC prior to their International travel for ease of certificate verification outside India.
To Generate DCVC
- Login to https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/
- Click on “Certificate” >> “International Travel Certificate” >> “Download”
- Enter “DOB” and Passport Number and Submit
To access DCVC
- Login to https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/
- Click on “Certificate” >> “International Travel Certificate” >> “Download”
The following categories of guests will be allowed to travel from India to UAE:
- Holders of all type of visa and/or entry permission granted by the appropriate authority in the United Arab Emirates (i.e., valid resident visa, employment visa, short stay/long stay visa, visit visa, residence visa newly issued)
- UAE Nationals
- Any national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for UAE
No GDRFA/ICA approval is required in normal course while traveling to Dubai, however GDRFA approval is necessary if the Residence visa is stamped on expired or old passport while traveling to UAE.
The entry requirements for other Emirates remain the same.
Travel mandates for guests travelling to the UAE from India
- Vaccinated Guests: Present valid vaccination certificate(s)* that reflects the completion of doses of vaccine approved by the WHO or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), provided with QR code system.
- Unvaccinated Guests:
• Present VALID Negative Covid-19 Test certificate(s)* that should be based on a molecular diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA, that is issued within 48 hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health service provider, which use QR code system.
• Present a valid medical certificate* issued by the relevant authorities that the guest has recovered from Coronavirus SARS Cov-19 within a period of 1 month (the date of recovery and the date of arrival) provided with QR code system.
* The certificates must be printed in English or Arabic language and provided with a QR Code. - All guests must undergo a PCR test upon arrival in UAE, if requested, and self-quarantine until a negative test result is released to the guest. In the event the guest is tested positive, then such guest shall follow the guidelines issued by the relevant Health Authority.
(Note : Guests who are less than 12 years old, are exempted from the above criteria.)
Guests travelling via Dubai can obtain a visa on arrival to enter Dubai for a maximum period of fourteen days, provided that they comply with the following:
a. The guest must have a visitor visa or a green card issued by the Unites States or
b. The guest is holding a Residence Permit issued by the United Kingdom or European Union
c. The holders of a valid visa issued by the United States, United Kingdom or European Union with a minimum validity period of six months
*Guests must ensure that they comply with all travel and health requirements of the destination country. If guests are denied entry, they will have to bear the cost of penalty/ deportation.

Air India Express has partnered with THB Global Home Health Care, Dubai for providing RT-PCR tests for Covid-19 on a home/hotel collection basis at discounted rates of AED 125.
UAE to India
The following categories of guests will be allowed to travel from UAE to India:
- Indian nationals or nationals of Nepal or Bhutan
- All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders holding passports of any country; and
- UAE nationals holding a valid Indian visa as per Ministry guidelines.
Travel mandates for guests travelling to India from UAE(updated as on 31.03.2022)
- Guests who have completed the full vaccination schedule of both doses from
the list of recognized countries (includes UAE) on reciprocity basis are exempted
from RT-PCR testing prior to departure for travel to India from UAE.
To view the list of eligible countries visit https://www.mohfw.gov.in/. - Guests should upload COVID-19 vaccination certificate from the list of
recognized countries (includes UAE) on reciprocity basis on Air Suvidha portal.
(https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration). - All other guests traveling should carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR certificate
and upload the same on Air Suvidha portal (The test should have been
conducted within 72 hrs prior to schedule time of departure). - All guests should submit complete and factual information in self-declaration
form on the online Air Suvidha portal, before the scheduled travel, including
last 14 days travel details. - Guests failing to comply with the above will be denied boarding.
- All guests will continue to undergo thermal screening on arrival and if found
symptomatic, will be treated as per protocol.
Children under 5 years of age are exempted from both pre- and post-arrival
testing. However, if found symptomatic for COVID-19 on arrival or during the
period of self-monitoring period, they shall undergo testing and treated as per
protocol.

Effective 31st January 2021, a Rapid PCR or Rapid Antigen test will be available at the airport for travelers departing from Dubai if their destination country requires it.
