Change of plans? Here are things you should know about booking modifications

We agree that traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic is tough. But once you get a clear picture of the current booking norms, flying becomes a lot easier and hassle-free. Here are some important points you’ll need to know while booking or modifying your Air India Express flight.

Booking modification

If your existing booking is for a future date, you can modify your booking through our website and by clicking on “Manage My Booking”.

If your existing booking was for a travel date that has elapsed, you can modify your booking through our City Office or 24*7 Call Centre. Please note that if you’ve canceled your booking, it cannot be modified.

Bookings can be modified for travel within 31st December 2021. If you have modified your bookings and the flights are still not operational, it is possible to rebook with zero date change fee. (Please note that fare difference, if any, may apply.)

Self-reporting form & quarantine exemption

Also, remember that passengers must submit an online Self-Reporting form through to declare consent for self-paid institutional quarantine. Additionally, if you seek exemption from institutional quarantine, you must submit an Exemption Form at least 72 hours prior to departure. State Governments may have additional rules, which can be checked on respective State Government websites.
