Celebrating International Flight Attendant’s Day

Flight attendants spend hours in the sky, crisscrossing the country, circumnavigating the globe, meeting people from different countries, and immersing themselves in different cultures while getting paid for travelling. No wonder this has become one of the most envied jobs in the world.

Aside from the fun and adventure, the role brings with it, great responsibilities too. The amount of hard work and dedication that goes into providing constant care, safety and comfort to guests throughout their journey, is truly commendable. Flight attendants’ days are long, and sometimes overwhelming, with long spells away from family. They work during holidays, weekends and non-traditional hours without any hesitation.

On May 31, the world celebrates International Flight Attendant Day to recognize the spirit, hard work, dedication, time and patience of our flight attendants. The day, also known as International Cabin Crew Day, has been celebrated since 2015.

At Air India Express, the cabin crew ensure that our guests are enjoying every step of their journey from check-in to arrival at their destinations. They leave no stones unturned to make every journey unforgettable.

Our crew are a talented group of individuals who hail from different walks of life and different parts of the country. Most of them come from smaller towns & cities and even remote villages and tribal areas in India and hence, speak different languages. At Air India Express, diversity goes beyond ethnicity, race and geography. We celebrate all our differences, whether they relate to our backgrounds and places of birth.

Here’s to those who rise early & stay up late to take care of our guests, every single day, every single flight.

Happy Flight Attendant’s Day!
