Government of India is conducting skill mapping of overseas returning citizens
With an aim to generate job opportunities for Indian citizens returning from overseas under Vande Bharat Mission, the Government of India has launched a new initiative to connect them with private sector companies in India and abroad.
Citizens who have returned to India can register themselves with the ‘SWADES (Skilled Workers Arrival Database for Employment Support) Skill Card’ if they are looking for job opportunities.
Fill your SWADES Skill Card now at www.nsdcindia.org/swades
How it works?
The Government of India is conducting skill mapping of those returning under Vande Bharat Mission. The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is collecting this data to update a database. The information collected through this process will be shared with private Indian and foreign companies so that they can contact the job seeker directly through mobile number and email address if their requirements match his/her skills.
