Air India Express launched its first flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Kozhikode on Monday, January 16, 2017. IX 373 on the Thiruvananthapuram – Kozhikode sector departed at 7:.00 am from Thiruvananthapuram carrying 53 passengers on board the inaugural flight. The flight landed at Kozhikode at 7.45 am and continued its onward journey to Doha.
At the inaugural function held at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, Mr. K.Shyam Sundar, CEO of Air India Express presented the first boarding passes to the family of Mr. Sankaran Damodaran Rajagopalan and Ms. Jaya Rajagopal . The flight was commanded by Nikil. P with Dipak Asatkar as flight officer. The cabin crew (CC) included senior cabin crew, Venkat Prasad Kella (SCC), Shaban. M (CC), Pyari Priya Sarala (CC) and Pranav Mohan B (CC).
In the return direction flight, IX 374 coming from Doha departs Kozhikode at 10.50 pm and arrives in Thiruvananthapuram at 11.45 pm. 165 passengers were already booked to fly from Kozhikode in tonight’s (16.01.2017) flight.
